ARCHIVE

First of all, how I don't know how the months have flown by so quickly since I last posted something?! I won't admit how many it has been... But I am back!

The last time I wore red, or anything other than neutrals for that matter, I was probably about 6 years old. So when Topshop asked me to photograph a few pieces from the Archive collection, trust me when I say this red dress wasn't the first thing I grabbed.

But as soon as I zipped it up and realised how much beautiful detailing was in it, I just can't explain the feeling of wearing something so... un-me.

Dress is Topshop Archive, which is currently online. Many more posts to come, I promise!

ADIDAS X TOPSHOP

One of my absolute favourite projects I've worked on at Topshop has been designing the marketing campaign for Topshop's collaboration with Adidas last year.

So imagine my excitement when I heard months ago that there was a second collab in the works! After creating everything from the flyers and windows down to the swing tags, I can finally say that it will all come to life tomorrow when it launches worldwide in both Topshop and Adidas Originals stores.

Last week I was asked to take the seven pieces home and shoot some images, and to my absolute pleasure both brands are using the images on their social media channels and websites.

Soooo, if you see these on Instagram, please please tag me - @lsiss or let me know!

ADIOS BCN

With this post means an end to my Barcelona photos, and also admitting that this much anticipated trip and reunion with my family is over.

My friends over at Mama's Boutique sent me this dress, and it was love at first zip. The most perfect fit, length and material, complete with my favourite neckline of the moment - a slight turtle.

I tried to pretend it was hot enough to sunbake on the last day before heading to the airport, but had to admit to my boyfriend that he was right and the breeze, ahem, gale winds were getting too much. But at least the photos are deceiving!

Dress - Mama's Boutique, heels - &OtherStories and glasses - vintage.

POOLSIDE

After four days admiring Barcelona from the ground, wandering the markets and taking photos of endless beautiful balconies - I nearly squealed when I got up to the hotel's rooftop and was faced with this 360 degree view of the city.

Up at that height you can take in the never ending buildings and try not to freak out leaning on the ever so thin glass walls.

Wearing top - Topshop, trousers - vintage, heels - &OtherStories, sunglasses - stolen from my sister.

BARCELONA TAKE TWO

The second part of my Barcelona trip was spent with my boyfriend in the most amazing hotel - Yurrban Trafalgar. No photos I took will ever do the view justice... These were all taken on our room's balcony.

Squealing with delight and jumping up and down like a kid between photos, imagine my reaction when we went upstairs to the rooftop pool with 360 degree views of the city.

Wearing lace bralet - Topshop, white trousers - vintage and heels - &OtherStories

BARCELONA

Last week was my much anticipated reunion with my family. After not seeing my parents and sister for almost a year and a half, my boyfriend and I flew to Barcelona to meet them.

After getting over the shock that my 13 year old sister is taller than me, we spent three sunny days with them climbing mountains, practicing her braiding on me, swapping clothes and exploring museums and cafes.

The days we spent with them, I was too excited to stop and take outfit photos - but made up for it on the two days without them (plenty of outfits to come!)
