GREY DAY

I still don't know quite how I feel about this coat. Back in Summer I noticed samples of it hanging around in Topshop head office, and vowed I would buy it once instore...

I bought it without thinking twice, but have to admit that all these months later it's still hanging with the tags on. I've worn it here with both trainers and heels, but still don't know if I'm in love with it.

VARNISH

Working for Topshop, and sitting alongside the Beauty packaging designer - my main collection that has grown over the past few years is nail varnishes.

Admittedly, I have about three times what's pictured here... All stashed away in drawers and bags. But these are my top picks - all lined up neatly on my acyrlic holder.

FUR REAL

This Topshop fur jacket has been the perfect alternative this Winter to my long wool coat. On those days where I'm heading out after work, or just for a change on weekends - it is so surprisingly warm!

PERFECT WINTER COAT

Before heading to Amsterdam last month, I searched endlessly for a warm longline coat - to no avail. I departed with just a leather jacket, secretly knowing I would need to buy one over there to brave the sub-zero temperatures.

By the end of the first day, we had been in over twenty shops, but I wasn't happy with a single one. As a final attempt, I dragged Gus into Monki. As soon as I saw it, I knew. Slightly cropped sleeves, perfect length and thank god - warm!

I've been back from Amsterdam over a month, and honestly haven't taken it off.

DEPOPPIN

I don't know what rock I have been under, but I only heard about Depop last week... It seemed like the perfect solution to two years worth of buying too much (certainly too much Topshop!) and an exciting way to start getting rid of the permanent six or so binliners of gorgeous unworn garments sitting in my hallway...

BAR

In terms of design, I absolutely love this set of earrings from Zara...

But the first pair I bought broke within a week, so I went back and bought a second set. After another week or so, that one broke too. Too angry to go back and even swap them - now all I have is this picture.

They went down in the sale, and now I know why!
